Speedway Motors Demo Derby Steering Column Kit, Fits Mopar 65-78

Wanting to build your own steering column for your derby car, but not sure which steering u-joint fits your car? Speedway Motors has you covered. We have created a kit for everything that will be required to build a steering column for your derby car. This kit includes the correct u-joints, a steering wheel, heims, jam nuts, and steering shaft. This kit fits 1965-78 full-size Compatible with Mopar cars. A steering u-joint is not needed at the firewall when the steering box is behind the engine crossmember. Kit Includes: (1) Steering U-joints. (1) Steering Shaft Heim Joints. (2) Jam Nuts. (1) Steering Shaft. (1) Quick Release Hub. (1) Steering Wheel. Steering U-Joint: This steering u-joint will connect the steering shaft to the steering box. Forged steel .620" 36-spline to 3/4" round weld-on steering U-joint. .620" 36 spline to 3/4" round. Quantity 1. Steering Shaft Heim Joints: 3/4" heim for steering shaft support. Slides right over standard 3/4" steering shaft. 3/4"-16 right hand threads. .757" Ball hole. Quantity 1. Jam Nuts: Plain steel fine thread jam nut.Special half thickness nuts for securing steering heims to a panel or flange. Quantity 2. Steering Shaft: Speedway steering shaft is made for you to cut-to-fit. This steering shaft entails: 3/4" O.D. 1018 solid steel steering shaft. Quantity 1. Quick Release Hub: These quick release hubs come with a one-piece hex steel sleeve that must be welded to your steering column. Features a spring-loaded push button release. Bolt holes for mounting steering wheel are 1/4"-20 thread. Billet aluminum hub with one-piece steel sleeve. Anodized finish. No pins just push button. Quantity 1. Steering Wheel: Steering wheels feature a powder coated steel 3-spoke fCompatible with Rame with rubber cushion grip. Does not include horn button. Black steering wheel included.
